Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science is home to around 700 students and 40 staff. Our teaching spans programming, algorithms, databases, machine learning and natural language processing, and our research groups collaborate with industry on trustworthy AI. The department is led by Dr. Elena Hartley and is based in Hargrove Hall on the north campus.
