MB110 Foundations of Marine Biology opens the BSc Marine Biology, taught by Dr. Claire Moreau. It surveys ocean habitats, marine invertebrates and fish, plankton ecology and the carbon cycle, with fortnightly shore fieldwork on the Northlight fjord.

The course runs in Fall 2026 and is worth 10 credits. It meets Mon & Wed 09:00–10:30, Aldercliff Station Auditorium. The final exam takes place on Monday 14 December 2026, 09:00–12:00, in the Aldercliff Station Auditorium.
