HI220 Viking Age Scandinavia is a second-year course of the BA History, taught by Dr. Henrik Larsen. It examines raiding, trading and settlement between 750 and 1100, runestones and sagas as sources, and the archaeology of the North Sea trade network.

The course runs in Fall 2026 and is worth 10 credits. It meets Tue & Thu 11:00–12:30, Old Library Lecture Room. Assessment is by two essays; there is no written exam.
